  • Treatment Time

The treatment is typically quick, lasting around 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

  • Is it Painful?

Most patients describe the sensation during the procedure as similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin, with a feeling of warmth or mild discomfort.

  • Recovery & Down Time

You might experience some mild redness or swelling, similar to a sunburn, which usually subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. The practitioner will provide you with aftercare instructions, which may include avoiding direct sun exposure, applying sunscreen, and using gentle skincare products.

  • Who will perform the treatment

You will be treated by one of our senior aesthetic practitioner. They will help you decide whether this is the right treatment for you at the consultation.

The procedure

Before the treatment begins, your skin will be thoroughly cleaned and you’ll receive special eyewear to protect your eyes from the laser.

You will be given protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the intense pulsed light used during the procedure.

The practitioner will apply a cooling gel to the treatment area to enhance comfort and improve the transmission of light.

The Harmony DPL handpiece is then used to deliver pulses of light to the skin. The device emits different wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin at varying depths to target specific skin issues such as pigmentation, vascular lesions, and uneven skin tone.
