  • Treatment Time

30 to 90 minutes depending on the treatment area

  • Treatment Area

The long list of skin concerns it can assist means it has a long list of treatment areas. These include the face, cheek, temporal region, nasal dorsum, forehead, legs, chest, back, neck and bikini line.

  • How long will it last?

The results of the treatment are permanent.

  • Is it Painful?

You may experience some slight discomfort; however, the treatment has things in place to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. An anesthetic cream may be applied to a particularly sensitive area, however, it’s not necessary.

  • Recovery & Down Time

Post-treatment there is no recovery time, but you may feel a slight bump where the treated area is, however, that tends to disappear 2-4 hours later. To combat any discomfort an ice pack is immediately applied to the treated area, followed by a bandage or patch to prevent abrasion.

Side effects from the treatment include redness, swelling, occasional bruising and itching that may last a few days post-treatment. Flaking skin may also occur, so it is advised that you delicately apply a moisturising cream to the treated area.

You are allowed to shave and apply makeup afterwards. It is advised that you protect yourself from sun exposure to reduce post inflammation by wearing protective clothing and an SPF 50+.

In addition, avoid scrubbing the treated area, staying away from abrasive skin cleansers and exfoliants.

  • Who will perform the treatment

You will be treated by one of our senior aesthetic practitioner. They will help you decide whether this is the right treatment for you at the consultation.
