FRACTIONAL LASER
Fractional lasering is a non-invasive treatment which heats up and destroys visible veins.
Using a focused laser, the wavelength of light targets and penetrates the pigment in the blood to cause the vein to collapse and seal.
This is an easy and effective method of addressing any of your skin concerns, without damaging any nearby skin tissue.
During the treatment you will be required to wear eye goggles and a handpiece is placed against the surface of your skin for treatment.
If having hair removal treatment, a cooling agent will be applied to the treated area.
For pigmentation correction on darker skin tones, a bleaching cream will be applied pre-treatment to aid results.

FAQ
Does it Hurt?
You may experience some slight discomfort; however, the treatment has things in place to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. An anesthetic cream may be applied to a particularly sensitive area, however, it’s not necessary. In addition, the treatment device includes a handheld cooling tip to minimise any discomfort you may experience. After Treatment?
Post-treatment there is no recovery time, but you may feel a slight bump where the treated area is, however, that tends to disappear 2-4 hours later. To combat any discomfort an ice pack is immediately applied to the treated area, followed by a bandage or patch to prevent abrasion. Side effects from the treatment include redness, swelling, occasional bruising and itching that may last a few days post-treatment. Flaking skin may also occur, so it is advised that you delicately apply a moisturising cream to the treated area. You are allowed to shave and apply makeup afterwards. It is advised that you protect yourself from sun exposure to reduce post inflammation by wearing protective clothing and an SPF 50+. In addition, avoid scrubbing the treated area, staying away from abrasive skin cleansers and exfoliants. How long will it last?
