Skin Rejuvenation London

Skin Rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation assists with the loss of collagen as well as aging and sun damage.

Using an Intense Pulsed Light Laser System, the laser light penetrates the pigmented skin with the aim of destroying the uneven skin tone.

This non-invasive treatment stimulates blood flow to the treated area and encourages the body to produce collagen to help thicken the skin.

The result improves skin tone and texture, as well as lifting and hydrating your complexion.

Guidelines pre treatment include the daily wearing of SPF and to not have laser therapy within 4 weeks of a sunny holiday.

The process features a consultation followed by a patch test to distinguish the correct settings specific for you. A strict routine using sunscreen and recommended products will be given, then a few days later your treatment. During the treatment you’ll lie down, for facial treatments you’ll be required to wear blackout goggles.

The Treatment

Treatment Areas

Treatment areas include the face, neck, chest and any areas exposed to the sun (most commonly the hands).

Expected Results

Results will gradually be visible from about a week post treatment. If your treatment is to target brown lentigines, between 7-10 days post treatment they will darken before eventually peeling off.

Professional • Passionate • Experts

Does it Hurt?

No. Anesthetic is used so you may experience mild discomfort during the treatment, however, it is very quick.

After Treatment?

There is no recovery time. You may experience redness up to 48 hours post-treatment as well as swelling. Rare side effects include blistering and crusting. To assist with the results, apply sunscreen with an SPF 30+ daily for at least two weeks after treatment.

How long will it last?

Treatment can be permanent, but we advise the use of an SPF to prevent any new aging marks from appearing.

Why would someone have the treatment?

The treatment helps those wanting to achieve a more youthful appearance by the removal of aging marks as well as signs of damage and the improvement of skin texture.

Who generally has this treatment?

Those that have signs of aging or sun damage. The treatment assists with:
  • Solar lentigines (brown marks that appear on your skin)
  • Dull looking skin
  • Wrinkles
  • Lines
  • Facial redness
  • Skin Resurfacing
  • Loss of facial volume
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Skin texture
Treatment may be difficult for individuals who have a long history of sun exposure. Cautions may also be taken on those with a darker skin tone.
